Our Brigandine Gorget is crafted from supple leather with brass-riveted and blackened plates of 18 gauge steel integrated onto the leather. The brass buckle and matched leather strap allow it to be adjusted to fit the neck and the collar portion can be formed to your neck shape. The standing collar and most of the chest portion are covered by steel plates.
It is recommended that it be worn over a jacket or gambeson collar to prevent chafe from the rivets against the bare skin of your neck.
